2015 In Review

Allison and I are two identical twins with one seriously deep-rooted passion for beauty. We love trying out the hottest new trends and balancing them out with classic styles. With the ever-evolving social media landscape creating maximum exposure, more people are trying out these trends than ever before. Here are our favorite 2015 trends and our product recommendations for how best to achieve them:

1. Fake lashes: We are and always will be lash girls. There’s nothing quite like long, well-curled lashes to open up the eye area and make your eyes pop.  Lash application was once looked at as an impossible task, but thankfully, it’s becoming more and more mainstream with the help of YouTube vloggers showing women how it’s done. Our pick: Ardell Natural Demi Wispies (gorgeous and affordable!)
2. Matte lipstick: In just a couple of years, women have made a complete 180 degrees as their preferences changed from super slick glosses to ultra-matte lipsticks. We’re excited about this new trend, and we don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon. 3. Sheet masks: South Korean beauty trends dominated 2015, and sheet  masks were our favorite. They do an incredible job of hydrating and brightening the skin and are suitable for all skin types. Our pick: SKII Facial Treatment Mask
